New Scout Owner

Wilko, please keep the reports coming. Have to keep myself occupied pending delivery, hopefully by the end of the week...

It's very common to find the Xenon headlights not properly setup during PDI.

Cheers VRStu I've just read other posts here re: Xenon issues - I'll get it checked out.

Zip - Not long now - I bet your nights are getting longer  .

Wilko

I too was very keen on getting a scout but was put off over a couple of matters.

Justdoit – spotted your car in the usual place last night :)

Justbuyit :)

Lol well you wont see it there for a couple of weeks as its now in a car park down at Gatwick. Stuck with the G/F's Twintop whilst its away due to a 2 women going on hols and a boot not being big enough and the driver unable to read a map!! Even got a phone call panicking that the Sat Nav had stopped working - then was told she noticed it hadn't said a word since they stopped for something to eat at the services on the way down! Women! Ya gotta love em!

Reading this thread I am beginning to regret foregoing a Scout for a VRS (due soon) - a chipped Scout sounds like a better deal than a VRS or am i wrong ?

ETA Currently an Elegance 2.0 TDI driver so no problems with the car as a whole, just want better faster version.

Will hook up with you soon mate :)

Chipped.....Now theres an idea

I wonder what I could squeeze out of it?

:tipspecs:

Well, it's landed! And it's better than I dare hoped. It looks fantastic - photos don't truly do it justice. Only 50 miles done so far so I'm looking forward to the weekend...

W.

Picked mine up today! My third 4x4.

Well chuffed.

Spoilt by having a scratch on the front bumper, dealer has agreed to fit a new one, paint prep nothing special, need to have a good look at it tomorrow.

Techie question: How do you change the time on the RADIO, can't see it anywhere in the book and mine is 12 hours out?

Cheers..

I think the time shown on the radio is the same as what's shown on the dashpod - use the **** by the dials to change the time, counter-clockwise to increase minutes, and clockwise to increase the hours (or visa versa I'm unsure)

Thanks Harry, I wondered that but the clock on the dash and the radio are showing differnt times, 12 hours apart.

Dash will show 7pm and the radio will show 07?????

Cheers

Clock sorted.

It alters with the clock in the MFD, not the one on the dials, but only if you have the radio one as well, as far as I can see.

Cheers.

It's a car with 2 days worth of stubble growth. Makes it look mean ( in a good way ) !

Nice car. What is the tyre size again? 45 profile?
