Scratch removal again

Featured Replies

I read on here a while back that Brasso (the Duraglit one) was the thing to use to remove scratches. Well after a cat decided to use may car as a scratch post and another incident involving a tree branch I thought I would give it go.

It works very well. The red arrow was the tree branch, a scratch right down to the primer:mad: After working for 2 mins the Brasso has completly sorted it:eek:

The other ones (cat scratches) are proving a little more difficult to remove. It has improved but Unfortunately I didnt have much time to see if it would completely disappear. Im sure that another half an hours work will have that scratch nigh on invisible.

All in all im amazed how well it worked, just need to give it a blooming good wash and polish now + maybe have a go at those swirl marks.

Goes of the Halfrauds.

find out who that cat belongs to and bill them ;) bloody cats should all have insurance to cover their misfortunes.

Shoot every cat in the world. My Fabia's bonnet, was manky from spending 2 weeks in Portugal.

They'd love the hot bonnet, to sleep on, and obviously, a particular kitten couldn't get up in one jump, therefore, repeatedly scratching both sides of the car.

Disconnect the car battery, hook up an electronic fence zapper, cat problem sorted.......

pepper around the car works in the dry (not much chance in this country) there is also a plant you can get from the garden centre, cant remember what its called, but get some of them around the car and the cats will avoid it like the plague. Just wished i took a bit more notice of that gardening program now.
