Hi All,

Been looking at your posts and getting some good information on the "Octy". I am taking delivery of a Octavia 1.9 TDi PD Elegance DSG (with MF steering wheel & Maxidot) in the next couple of weeks. It's a company car and basically I'm attracted to the kit list, CO2 emmissions and company car tax bracket.

I'm slightly worried that the 1.9 TDi is going to be sluggish but the 2.0TDi was more expensive for me on the company car front.

Can anyone shed some light on whether I've cocked it up?

ps. some posts seem to suggest maxidot is standard on the Elegance, is this true?

Welcome.

The 1.9 TDi is a good engine, as is the 140. If you are limited by budget then a sensible decision has to be made, and it sounds like you've made it. Residuals might have been stronger on the 140 but then that isn't your worry.
