Has It Been Mapped ???

Featured Replies

Right guys the big question is how can i tell if my car has been remapped:confused: i do not really want to waste money on a RR to be told it is standard especially when that money could go towards a remap, the reason i am asking is because it seems very fast for 180 bhp, back in my early twentys i had a couple of fords that were pushing 180 out and i must say this is a lot quicker esp when driving along at a ton then flooring it in 4th it just takes off in germany ofcourse . maybe some one who has a mapped car could give me some in gear speeds they have achieved or anything else that might help. Cheers.:D

I reckon the best way of confirming it is get yourself down to the RR next saturday. ;) There's not really any other way except somehow measuring the BHP, which is what a dyno does. :D

Find a local Briskodian with VAG-COM - they should easily be able to see if it's been monkeyed with :D

Chris

Indeed, five second check with VAG COM.
