I think you'd be better off sorting out what cam you're going to use before you change possible back pressure in the exhaust system

TBH I'm not a fan of "performance " backboxes- very often, all you get is poorer performace and pickup, more noise and a lighter wallet

i suppose

idea is to remove the center box and just use the back box. not fussed about being loud, but are there any legal restrictions????

Hi - had a look round at other forums about noise limits. The general consensus is there are no limits for cars (bikes do have a limit though).

I think the situation is:

There is the possibility of action being taken against you via the back door if it is too loud - statutory nuisance, common law nuisance or section 82 of the Environment Protection Agency act 1980 (but all of these are taken by individuals against the owner of the noise by common law, or the local authority if it comes under statutory nuisance).

But it is unlikely that anyone, apart from maybe your neighbours, who would have a cats chance in hell.

i live out in the villages so noise wont afect many people.
