Just a quick question.

If i remap my vRS and leave everything else standard what sort of gains can i expect and will i damage anything if i leave the rest of the engine standard (for now:rolleyes: ).

The reason i ask is cos there is no way on this earth i can convince SWMBO to let me have all the stuff i want at once:mad: :( and i thought the remap would be a good starting point

A remap and panel filter could give you around 225 - 230 hp and 290 - 300 lbft.

Much depends on your mapper. It will be fine to run like that though.

I am going for REVO stage 1 and Forge DV in the next week or so. The switchable map and immobiliser function of the Select switch is what swung it for me.

Don't get caught up with figures. A remap will most certainly transform your car. Remember its how it drives that's important.

The Revo map in particular gives very strong torque figures of around 300lbft and with 230bhp to match.

The SPS Plus is a fantastic bonus with the luxury of adjustability and the ability to revert to standard (for those rare occasions )

Quite reasonable then, I'm dithering over a remap, I've had loads of cars done but just can't decide whether this car is gonna get one. I quite like the SPS principle.
