correct tyre pressure octavia vrs 53 plate (last model)

Featured Replies

Hi

please can someone tell me the correct pressures for this model? standard wheels and tyres...normal load.

thanks

Mike

Is the sticker missing from inside the fuel filler?

From memory (may not apply to 17 inch wheels) 32 PSI front, 30 rear. Worth trying 2PSI up on those if you're running Toyo Proxes T1-Rs.

er...didn't look in there...no pirelli p6000 or 9000?

I'd go with Kens Tyre pressures, wheel size and tyre type should have no impact. The pressures mentioned by Ken are what I used with my old vRS.

If I'd not needed to fill up just after getting the car, I'd not have been in there either. It's the only car I've seen that data sticker in there on; usually a front door shut IME.

And the suggestion for the Toyos was make specific, and based on site-wide experience. Just stay with recommended pressures for the Pirellis, unless you get signs of underinflation.

For my Octavia MKI with pirelli P6000 powergy y put 30 front/28 rear, feels fine on city traffic and highway up to 160 KPH when wife starts saying put speed down.

yeah, sounds about right.

1. Inside fuel cap

2. Haynes manual

3. Tyre wall

The only pressure the tyre wall will quote is the maximum cold service pressure (it may take more to mount a tyre, but it should never be driven when inflated above that cold pressure).
