Nokia Bluetooth Telephone kit install

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking at installing a Nokia Bluetooth Telephone kit in my Fabia Vrs..

Has anyone managed to install one? I'm interested in knowing where they fitted the main control box and the small muting box?

Thanks..

Phil..

Which kit are you going for. I have a CK7W installed in my octavia, and have mounted the main module behind the dual zone climate controls. If we know which model then we will know how big everything is.

CK7W in my Octavia MK1, with the box up behind the glove box.

On a separate note, I have a non nokia phone, and the other party gets a horrendous echo. From posts on the internet, it would seem this is a common problem. Nokia phones seem ok, but others can give problems.

It's definitely the car kit/phone combination, as there was no echo with a nokia phone in the craddle ok via bluetooth, and a collegue uses the same phone but with a parrot and this is ok.

Just something to bear in mind.

It's the CK-7W into a Fabia Vrs.

Cheers.

Actually, the wiring isn't that much of a problem, before I strip out the dashboard I was wondering where anybody else fitted theirs?

Thanks.

Phil.
