KVW100 Device for Auto Windows

Featured Replies

Assuming that this device can be used more than once, does anyone have an old one lying about that they wish to sell or let me borrow before I obtain one from eBay.

Thanks.

Manufacturers say it can only be used once, also I don't think it works on the furby as it has different convenience system.

If anyone can correct this please let me know so I don't waste

have a look here first, know a load of guys off another forum bought off these, and no one had any problems. There

Do a search on here about them, plenty of text from me on the subject!

Seems that there's two possible versions of the conv system on the Fabia, and that having one-door unlock enabled could have an effect.

I still need to experiment by turning that off on mine - currently I have the situation where it will close my sunroof on lock, but doesn't do anything with the windows.

So proceed with caution.

Mine worked great on my Octy, just out of interest, I know they `say` it can only be used on one vehicle, but has anyone actually tried it on another?...no I hav`nt either:confused:

Yeah, there's no known issues at all with the Octavia Mk1.

As I understand it, the unit picks up your chassis number, or some other unique bit of information, to stop it being used on another vehicle. But no, I've not tried it either.
