:D thank god for that. The MOT runs out in September, do you think I should get it done now in the deal or wait till September.

I take it its not its first MOT then? If not then yes get it done early.

Yes it it's first MOT. Can can not believe I might be paying this much for a 3 yr old car .

Sorry for he daft questions but I went everything to go ok.

Does sound a touch pricey to me, and you wont be able to get the first MOT done yet, bit to early.

It is way over price at

IMHO yes, but this is why you do research isnt it..lol

The thing is you've looked around in Autotrader and you know what it should go for (ie 7.5k) so you can either pay 9k and get a better px/get 1500 quid worth of extras, or try and beat them down.

Plenty of vRS's out there and it's well worth travelling for the right car - last one I bought was 100 miles away!

I have been looking at Vrs's now for 3 months I know it is a high price but it is at the dealer I bought my current car from and I might get a better deal.

Find the book px price of your car and then you know you need at least 1.5k above that for this to be a good deal. You can then work out the target cost to change, which is the figure that really matters. Just be wary of accepting extras which don't cost the dealer anything/don't have a good value.

Oh and let us know how you get on :D

If there is less than 6 months left on the MOT, I should have thought any Dealer worth their salt would put a new MOT on it as a matter of course. Parkside Garage do!!!!

As he said being an 04 plate it is the first MOT so you cant do that more than one month ahead of its start date.
