clutch judder

Featured Replies

anyone got clutch judder taking off first time in morning when its cold with octy2 2.0tdi

My fabia vRS does it too,

I'm yet to try a method that hepls stop clutch slip, remove rubber cover off flywheel timing (top of bell housing) and pour warn soapy water in. it basicly clears the clutch mechanism of dust and 5hit. fingers crossed it'll help, will let u know what happens after i've done mine.

5tu!

On the 2.0 TDI you might want to get the DMF checked by a dealer as that sounds like a familiar symptom.

I've got exactly the same problem with my 55 plate 1.9 TDi estate. Have you got a solution yet?

I had a new clutch under warranty for my judder. That is a 55 1.9TDi

Yup, Same thing with my 2.0 tdi. Just first thing in the morning then it is fine the rest of the day.

I read that method somewhere else before, wouldn't like to try it though.

Have you done this yet Stu ?

if so i would be interested to know what the outcome was

Good idea or complete fur cup ?

I left my Octavia 1.9 TDI estate at the dealers overnight (Sparshatts of Fareham). They re-created the judder problem first thing the next morning and the car is now booked in for a new clutch and mass flywheel replacement. Refreshingly good service from a main dealer.
