Octy 2 rear door windnoise

Featured Replies

I understand there is a SRB for this , can anyone confirm the fix is to screw small self tapping screws into the trim inside the door????

My rear offside door still has windnoise i've tried adjusting the slam plate and its better but a full solution would be nice

i bought the car as ex demo off the dealer so the screws were fitted when they had it

Hi richf,

early octavia II had a wind noise at 30mph+ from the rear quarter windows in the rear doors.

if the vehicle is still in warranty take it to a dealer and they'll sort it out, wit warranty footing the bill.

5tu!

It most certainly isn't the addition of a self tapping screw.

It's simply a case of loosening the current screw and moving the quarter window upright. Your dealer will carry this out for you FOC.

Yep take it back to the dealer, I see you have found some other related threads.
