Just heard back from the dealership that I had put a deposit down on sunday with... I actually spoke to them on the friday to confirm that they have a few left on the stock computer.

I got a call back today, and confirmed that all existing SE's have been customer assigned and the remaining 3 that are not are in guernsey which means it be import material. So got a refund back, looks like i wont be joining you guys in the vRS fray :( gutted...

Back on the market for a new car before mine depreciates even further.. :(

You could get a Furby vRS on a late plate in metallic with heated seats, xenons, cruise, cd changer and still have the cash for a leather retrim by seat surgeons, and a jabba arb.

How about checking out the deler list on this site and make a few phone calls, Someone may make more of an effort that your local dealer to find one.

I dont think he should have taken a deposit for the car before finding one, my local dealer will not take a deposit unless there is a car in stock that he can assign his name to.

Agreed......buy an older one with some more kit and get it retrimmed.

Something like a 55 plate (06's onwards stutter IIRC) with all the trimmings and then get it clad in nice Seat Surgeons leather, kind of like I did!

Yella Fella, send a pm to Ants as he might know where there are some unregistered SE's. He seemed to think in another thread yesturday that there were 4 left at dealers.

3 left now, but they'll all require a boat trip to bring them back to mainland UK.

Might make a nice trip for someone who really wanted one.

I checked my local dealer this afternoon who also confirmed 3 left. He does have one in the showroom but it has a holding deposit pending a PX valuation so I'll keep you posted on that if you wish.

Bad news for you mate.

Excellent news for owners though. We have something resembling a decent residual value on our hands (if we keep pur fingers crossed really tight).

MAke me an offer for mine if you like ... only 1000 miles.
