Quick top tint question!

Featured Replies

I need this info for my insurers asap but my car is at the dealer's today...

Will my Fabia VRS SE have a 'top tint' on the windscreen?

Big thanks to anyone who can provide a quick answer!

i think it will have a top tint windscreen IIRC they come in grey on the fabia vrs but for some reason mine has a green top tint band :D

Yes, it should do

Why do you need that for your insurers??

I should have said ' glass people'.

They will want to know in order that they can check for relevant parts apparently.

Yep, vRS is Grey top tint, Had mine changed last week :(

cheers for the confirmation.

I've gota bloody big chip from the m4 yesterday to be sorted.

I was pretty chuffed to learn that I could have it done through my insurance without affecting my ncb though.

Yeah, its handy. I paid

Yes, all except the Fabia Classics have a top tint. It was originally green on the first Fabias, but then changed to grey. If you have your windscreen changed, you can ask for a green strip instead of the grey one (more effective).
