Right had my Black Magic Mk1 Oct VR-s Kombi Tuned. Started with ARP 2.5" down pipe and CAT. with fully exhaust to match. Then Stage 2 Revo tune, Pipercross panel, 4 bar fuel regulator and Forge Valve. Oh a nice set of 18" RS4 mags, and some tints

Not that the latter items will make any difference but, in second (oh had a new gear box under warranty about 5000 kms ago after a noisy 4 gear / sounded like a straight cut) backing off the gas it gets very jerky. Unless I have my boot right up it all the time its seems to be very hard to get smooth / consistent acceleration out of it.

Is this normal? or is this a know issue? I've just had our Fabia VR-s Revo'd and its fan bloody tastic. Smooth and strong.

Any help / suggestions would greatly fully received. Cheers

N75 valve or the maps ****e! Could also try a throttle body allignment...........

Ah the much beloved N75. I have heard of these seemingly notorious valves. So a remap, with the extra boost etc, will cause these to fail? Or do they randomly 'pop their cloggs'?

The throttle body alignment sounds a bit more serious. So as it bolts up to the manifold its mis-aligned? Like port matching on an old school motor? or the actual butterfly within the throttle body?

Throttle aligment is done through Vag Com Or a dealer tool

It just tells the ecu the full movment of the butterfly

I also believe you can also do it by turning the ignition on (but not starting the car) whilst the drivers door is open.

It's open bonnet and door, turn on ignition but dont turn engine over. I think that one is an urban myth Ed iirc. Although it does sound like when you do with vag com whirring etc so i cant be 100% maybe lummox or ken can confirm

I've never tried it, always use the vagcom method as you can see it happening on the screen.
