Removing all the seats in VRS

Featured Replies

Hi All,

My seats are filthy in the VRS, for ease of cleaning how easy is it to remove all seats from the vehicle and would i need new bolts if so does anyone know the part numbers.?

Thanks

Craig.

The seats are quite easy to take out but you need new bolts. Will be more difficult if you have side air bags in the seats though, but I don't think these were standard.....

no side airbags in mine so should be a doddle then.

One of the rear seat backrests contains the reel for the centre seatbelt (on later models) - so it will be surprisingly heavy and quite fiddly to unbolt the ends of the belts from the bodywork.

The base of the rears come out quite easily. The fronts are held in by splined bolts and should be renewed. No need for a number really as the dealer will look them up for you.

I just noticed that the back of one of my rear seats has become loose. The bolt at the bottom has detatched from the seat. Is it an easy job to re-attach it? Everything seems very tight around the area.
