Detail and new wheels

Featured Replies

Got a good run at the car today and gave it a good going over. Heading to a show tomorrow so it needed to be tip top.

Fitted a brand new set of BBS too that I had lying around. Initially I didnt like them on the car but they are growing on me. I'll see what public reaction is like. :D

I like the wheels and you've done a cracking job in detailing but I cant help thinking that it would sit so much better on Koni FSD's & Eibachs.

Civic 1.8 EX Sport, (dont sell the 2.2D in Ireland) xenons, bluetooth, sat-nav, 17's with 225/45s. Loving some of it  - hating more of it :thumbdwn: ,

Engine needs to be "worked" , 140bhp, but after the "pull" of the diesel Superb feels gutless at 1st :o , 1st - 2nd an 3rd could do with being lower geared to make the most of the engine - but sometime, when you catch it right - can be fun :D ,

Not in love with the wheels that came on here so have some new TSW Rocket 5's on order for her, will have to hook up and give u a look at her some time.

Looks well Bryan. Why the move away from Skoda? Would you have not bought another RS Octavia?

Yeah since I fitted the BBS it looks a lot higher than it did on the factory 18s.

Your new wheels are fantastic and the car is looking spot on

Looked at the diesel vRS, fine car, but just wanted a change, try something new, and hope that will not lose so much money on the Honda as I have been on the Skodas over the last few yrs

Should have the new wheels on her next weekend (hope they will look as good on her as I picture them in my mind  ) Alos love the dash of the Civic, you been in one yet?

You both must be two mean looking dudes :rofl:

Seriously though at the Overdrive meet in Mondello a while back the Subaru boys were beside us, quite a few were knocking about looking in the windows.

We'll have to organise a few more to head to one of these meets.....bigger presence :)

Theres a big show that does be on in terenure every July, a mate only mentioned after it that it gets a lot of Clubs (I was under the impression it was classic cars only). I'd love to try organise a few people next year, might also be able to drag along a few Older Skoda's .

Between wedding plans, work and RC racing it seems every weekend is gone before I know it........although some will say after the wedding it'll get worse
