I have a day of work on Monday, and my wife has informed me that I am cleaning the carpets in our house (all 3 floors) with one of those carpet cleaners that you can hire. I thought id give the carpets in the vrs (octy) a clean with it but can i use it on the white bits on the seats? Has it been tried before?

I used my vax carpet cleaner with car attachment(smaller washing head) on my 4x4 elegance but i have a cloth interior and it worked well.I wouldnt put it anywhere near any leather.I did the seats and the carpets and the headliner,and they all come out looking and smelling clean.

It will be fine on the seats if you dont use the brush

good luck, the last time i hired a carpet cleaner they could only give me a small wet vac, i'd have been better sucking the water up with a straw!!!
