All Skoda dealers offer 7 days insurance foc. It's a marketing ploy becuase it means they get to quote you for a full annual policy and send you loads of marketing material unless you make the point of telling them not to.

IIRC the 7day scheme is just to allow the dealers to tax the car in time for collection before you get you're own insurance sorted out.

It was on a poster and said it was on new cars - I said "Can you throw that in too?" and he said yeah! When I rang for it I listened to the automated message thing which tells you about them sending you loads of crap so I made a point of saying that I did not want it and neither did I want my details sharing

Its insured as of 5pm tonight and I pick it up at 5:30pm

I slept ok last night but thats probs because of the busy weekend and hectic day at work yesterday!!

Yeah they even wrote down "Major service inc cambelt etc" on the sales confirmation sheet so I think i'm good there!
