I've got myself a Furby vRS

Featured Replies

After a lot of searching for one in my price range I found one that was just over at a main dealer and decided to go and haggle ;)

Got to the dealership and low and behold one of my mates walks out and shakes my hand!! KER-CHING!

After a quick chat with Chris he tells me that he's quit his old sales job to go back to Skoda and its his 1st day so he could get me a deal...and he did!

I took the Furby for a brisk test drive and it just re-affirmed my love for that torquie (sp) diesel engine.

I had a sly word in Chris' ear and he said he could get some movement on the car so we decided to head back to the dealership.

After 30 mins of Chris going to and from the boss' office with various deals I finally shook on one.

So here she is:

2004 04 Skoda Fabia vRS

57k miles

Full Dealer Service History (with a major service before I pick it up)

New vRS Mats

Full tank of Diesel

Scotchguarded interior

Re-Gassed Aircon

Hopefully I will pick it up at the end of the week/ weekend... I CANNOT WAIT!

nice... did you get the cambelt in that major service provided?

:iagree: You need to get the cambelt done in that service if possible. It's due at 60k or 4 years, whichever comes first. As this one is at 57k, I get the feeling the previous owner got rid just before it was due as it's fairly expensive.

Good lad. You've saved yourself a few quid there. :D

Have they actually confirmed that the cambelt etc is being changed or have they just said the words 'major service'?

 Cheers mate - Just spat tea on the keyboard laughing at that!

Its a Proton

Twas my budget baby... 1.8 16v Petrol = 980kg's + 160hp + Lotus Suspension = GRIN! :D but it drank fuel like nothing else (50l super unleaded in 195 miles!!)

Steve

Looks like a nice and straight car, and it's the colour to have....

I am getting my Vrs on Friday , the days are getting slower.

I paid 6k

Steve

Thats a steal! good work. I would imagine the 57k would put alot of buyers off, the pd engine can be good for 200+k as some taxi drivers have found out ;)

Just keep an eye out for the usual leaking doors and knackered suspension components and youve got yourself a bargain

Surely not. Black is better!!! :D :D :D

Nice price though, and good work on getting the service included.
