I'm new to this forum, so hello all.

My girlfriend has just bought a 3 month old Fabia VRS SE as our joint use car. My van just doesnt cut it. Managed to persuade her to test drive one, she loved it, and bought it.

Only slight glitch is there is a stutter about 1700 rpm in any gear. I saw something about it on here, will have to investigate further. Dealer said they hadnt heard of it. Typical

Just read that bit about the EGr valve. Sounds like its going to be a right saga to get it sorted.

Its not a really bad problem, just annoys in a niggly way.

Our local dealer is sorting the stutter on ours out tomorrow, the service manager is fully aware of the problems some ( not all ) of the blt coded engines have, and doesn't have a problem rectifying it, unlike some other dealers.

Its car number 099 by the way!
