The footwell carpet mats in my Scout fit onto little pillar shaped clips.

I want to take the carpet mats out and use the Skoda rubber mats, instead. These use a different type of locating clip.

Got the pillar clips out in the rear, just unscrew and the others screw in, no problems.

Can't get the pillar clips out in the front , they don't seem to want to unscrew and don't pull out??

Any thoughts please, trying not to trash anything as it's only a week old.

I think they are all screwed in.

As Stu said they are screwed in, put the front ones seem to be alot harder to un screw, trypulling as you unscrew.

I got Skoda rubber ones aswell as the carpet and there a straight swap onto the screws. You do have to cut the hole for them to fit but its marked for cutting and all.

I've got the rubber mats over the pillar shaped clips at the moment but they tend to creep off.

The clips with the rubber mats are much more secure and have a little turn buckle to keep the rubber firmly in place!!
