Using touch up paint.

As an aside, I've a large chip on my plastic grill.

I bought the touch-up kit, but as the grill is plastic should I be using a plastic primer before applying the paint as I assume the primer in the kit is for metal?

Clean the area with white spirit until you think it's spotless then do it again.

you're beter safe than sorry as paint wont' stick to wax, sealant or any kind of road grime!!!
