Still not very familiar with the use of messaging.

I have tried to ask for some advice about repairing the window regulator for my Fabia, and tried to insert some pictures but some strange URL message appeared, and basically that was it . I do not thik I have managed to send it because there are not trace of it on my message list?????????

hower I finally Managed to replace it ....WHAT A JOB..........

Anyway the reason of my replay is for thanking you all for the the reply to my first message, I still do not know how to read or find reply to my mail as I found these just by looking under my user name?????????

Once you're logged in - then go to Quick Links (top, near the right), select Subscribed Threads and this will show all the threads you have posted within.

If your browser allows - if you right-click on an entry and select Open in new window then you'll be able to keep your Subscribed threads page open as well as the new page of the thread you wish to view.

To insert a picture you have two ways - one is to use the attachment (paper clip) icon in the editor. This will open a new window which will allow you to upload certain files of certain types from your computer. If you then go back to the editor and then click on the attachment icon again you should get a 'dropdown' showing the file / files you just uploaded. Clicking on one of these will insert it in the correct format in the editor. If you then go to Advanced editor mode you can click the Preview Post button to make sure the picture is there etc.

A 2nd way to insert pictures is to use a free file-hosting service such as Photobucket. This will allow you to create online albums. If you then want to insert a picture into a post you open the editor and copy and paste the 'HTTP' link (Bottom one of four) from the links beneath your picture in Photobucket.

The FAQ button (top line) will lead you to some explanatory pages.

That looks so easy , I have tried to look as you decribed in the subscribed Threads, but it shows "0", should not be showing these messages?

But anyway - in case I've got some stuff wrong - read the FAQ
