Bonnet lifts (again)

Featured Replies

There was a group buy not long ago, and you only get one! Not fitted mine yet...but most the other guys should have.

AFAIK its only designed for one...and one is more than enough!

I've fitted mine, and it's fine -

Looking nice and shiny!!

If you could fit two struts (which you can't) then if you could actually close the bonnet and compress the two struts upon release I reckon the bonnet would be ripped off!

BTW in the picture above I think (if I remember correctly from fitting mine) that the top ball joint is fitted to the wrong side of the bracket, i.e. it should go on the outside.

One it is then, thanks. Only asked as a Kia Sorento I owned had two struts, one either side of the bonnet.

Does indeed look shiny! Easy to fit with just a couple of holes needing drilled?

No drilling required - easy to fit.

how much were they on the last group buy?

- easy to fit.

Thats what I figured......Milotec never followed up about the problems I had. I still can't work it out why some people had no problems  .
