Featured Replies

Has any body got a boost gauge fitted to a fabia vrs?

If so, where did they get it and how did they fit it etc?

Just Bumping this as i'd quite like a boost gauge for mine.

I think Jason has one now but could someone tell me which type I need and how to fit it

Cheers

Steve

I have a boost gauge(that I bought off Jason). Think he got it from Allards, not sure, goes up to 3 BAR.

You have two options: either tap into the intake manifold (preferably removing it from the car first, unlike you're a God of mechanics like Stu) or fit an Allard's racepipe which has a boost gauge nipple already present.

Was working today on swapping out the OEM turbo. I've already removed the intake manifold this pm, and am going to drill/tap a brass fitting into the top, where there is a handy flat spot.

Any chance you could take pics as you do it? ;)

I'm pretty handy in the garage and my dads an ex rally mechanic so he's pretty good too

Thanks

Steve

I have a manual racetech gauge. It's tapped off the aforementioned allard racepipe, and is wired in for the backlighting. It's sat in a triple gauge pod, along with some other useful instruments - atop my dash.
