clutch mech

Featured Replies

Can you change the 99 felicia cable clutch to hydraulic clutch and how can i go about doing it.

no hth:D

Contrarywise.

However you will need a new pedalbox to accept the hydraulic master cylinder, and a new or modified bellhousing to accept the slave, then need to sort out the cylinder bore ratio to get the correct clutch travel etc... So pedalbox, 2 master cylinders, a brake servo, a clutch slave, pipes.

You're looking at spending out at least

i meant if i am going to change the engine that requires it , can i change it ?

yeah, you could use the pedal box from a 6n2 polo i reckon.... wouldn't require too much fiddling either

Ah, if a Polo pedalbox will fit, that makes it a lot easier; I'd worked out figures based on needing a generic pedalbox, new brake hydraulics...

As it is, you could probably source a suitable used box from a reputable scrappie (preferably fron a car that's been rear-ended or rolled.

forget hydraulic clutches i am having enough problems turning the adjuster nut on the cable. Joy oh yoy yet another siezed nut to contend with.

as tom said, the polo box wont bolt in out of the box, you will need to fiddle with it.
