However you will need a new pedalbox to accept the hydraulic master cylinder, and a new or modified bellhousing to accept the slave, then need to sort out the cylinder bore ratio to get the correct clutch travel etc... So pedalbox, 2 master cylinders, a brake servo, a clutch slave, pipes.

You're looking at spending out at least

Ah, if a Polo pedalbox will fit, that makes it a lot easier; I'd worked out figures based on needing a generic pedalbox, new brake hydraulics...

As it is, you could probably source a suitable used box from a reputable scrappie (preferably fron a car that's been rear-ended or rolled.

forget hydraulic clutches i am having enough problems turning the adjuster nut on the cable. Joy oh yoy yet another siezed nut to contend with.

PlusGas dismantling lubricant. It cost me something like
