french driver in F1 in 2008

Featured Replies

Being French, I'm glad to see that there will be a French driver racing in Formula 1 next season. He'll race for Toro Rosso... anyway, he's a three 3 time Champ car world series winner, so he has got talent. Yes, big hopes for another Sebastien... as long as he is given a decent car. At least i'll have someone to cheer for! :P

Will be good to watch :)

I've read about him... should be good :) bet he can't do worse than Scott Speed! lol...

Hmmm... didn't realise the French could drive :sofahide:

been a fan of the "seabass" (as they call him in the states) for a while now and always hoped he would make it to f1. good luck to him, he may need it in that car!

Hmm, Not sure he will cut the mustard in F1, remember Micheal Andrett, fine indy driver but with limited testing in F1 really stuggled. Maybe driving the Torro Rosso will not be as high profile as McLaren that Andretti tried, he may last more than one season

But that's not how you win races ;):D

Hopefully he'll do the business, he was successful in Camp Car

And? Niggle Mansell could win in Chumpcars. ;)

Seriously, I'd not expect much more than an odd point from Seb B unless next year's Toro Rosso is better than this year's! Saying which, it's maybe a good place for a learning year. Oh and I do support Toro Rosso (and Red Bull, Super Aguri and Spyker).
