Give that man a beer.

Yes i was coming back from Italy and apart from a couple of uphill climbs the route back from about 25miles before the San Gottardo tunnel till about 40 miles after it is downhill and i was just sat there at 36.7 mpg. By the time i got to the swiss/german border i was on the MPG shown in the pic

Not bad eh:P

If only it would do that on the flat:rolleyes:

But you dont buy a TFSI ifyou worry about fuel consumption:thumbup:

Carl:thumbup:

So what was overall height drop from start to finish? ;)

When I left my mate's garage earlier, I headed down "off them thar hills" and the car read 90mpg when I finally levelled out. Good thing was it was still at 67mpg by the time I got home.
