Multi functional Display setting

Featured Replies

Can any one tell me if the multi functional display (with on board computer) is able to be programmed and how? Specifically if I can change the temp from Far. to Cel?

Thanks

If you press and hold one end of the rocker switch on the wiper stalk it will bring up a setup menu. This is on the basis you have what is known as "MaxiDot" - the display that brings up a graphic of the car when a door is open for example.

Thanks dstev2000, I do not have the Maxi Dot, but the basic multi functional display. The rocker on the wiper arm doesn't press in and is fixed, so display must not be programmable in that fashion.

Just wonder what happens if battery is disconnected or dies and all info is reset to zero (maybe thats how to do it), how to re set date and clock.

Any other ideas?

it should still be changeable, but I would guess it would need a dealer visit.

Have you looked in the manual?

The clock can be set using the odometer kn0b

Yes, I did check the manual and did figure out how to set the clock with the odometer button, but the manual does not say anything about the other settings for that type of display. I'l see the dealer about it next week.

By the way I bought this car ( 2007 Octavia Combi 1.6 MPI 75 KW) yesterday here in Estonia at a Skoda dealership and it only has manuals in Estonian and Russian. If any one can help me find a place to purchase an owners manual and service manual in English, I would appreciate the tip.

Thanks
