Hi guys,

Im now just a couple of weeks away from getting the VRS estate and I noticed that Skoda offer an optional rear spoiler in their accesories range. It isnt too in your face, just very subtle (which is what I want!) but they dont show a picture of it attached to the car!!!

Does anyone have any photos as I really would like it but Im keen to see how it works with the rear shape of the estate ie how it follows the roofline.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I remember seeing a picture of it but for the life of me I cant remember where :(, not much use am I

I'm going to put one one my Satin Grey Scout I think.

Hmmm, I just spoke to the dealer and he is confirming price/availability for me.

BUT how do I know if what is going to turn up is the top one (this is the one shown on the UK accessories catalogue) or the MUCH nicer one that Ants posted?

They look one and the same part to me :confused:

Just had a look on ETKA and the part number showing for it is the same as the first pic/link as FAA 620 001.

Looks nice. I take it just gets bonded onto the original one?

Len - I didnt think the estate came with a spoiler?! :confused:

Maybe the ones above are the same. The red estate photos make it look more angular at the ends to me for some reason.

the vRS combi comes with a very understated spoiler. Looking at the pice of the

red one, it tooks like it goes over the old one

Cheers for the info Len - I thought it simply didnt come with one in the first place! I'll see if I can see a VRS estate on the dealer forecourt but I'll still end up going for this one I think.

The mystery deepens!!!!

My dealer has just been to look at the car outside (it arrived yesterday!) to clarify if it has any sort of spolier on there as standard and he says its arrived with the one in the photo on this thread! :confused: He says its the same as the one on the 'system' (shown at top of thread).

Now im even MORE confused!

The red car has an additional spoiler which needs to be painted and bonded on. I'll get you the part number tomorrow.

Ants - so am I right in thinking that the standard car DOES in fact come with a more subtle version and the one above (both in the top accesory pic and on the red car) is an optional, more noticeable spoiler?

Lee have a look on the White vRS thread I just posted the RS in that picture has a spoiler.

All Octavia estates have a small spoiler but this is just part of the tailgate.

The one fitted to the red vRS is indeed part number SFAA620001, which on the parts system does relate to the picture originally posted (as stated by Makefish)

However, it does seem to be a bit more angular than the silver spoiler pictured, maybe that's just down to light reflecting more off a silver spoiler though!
