is this din gauge kit OK for my OCTY?

Featured Replies

Looks like both would be ok, the only thing I could see you may need is a connector for the oil gauge into the oil housing rather than using a sandwich plate.

these seem a lot cheaper than what other people have looked at, are they a crap make?

Mine are similar - and cost about the same too. Not had any issues with them.

thanks phil,

Ive justg been having a look at this i notice the gauge i'm looking at are boost oil temp and oil pressure.

robs seems to be oil temp, boost and fuel/air mixture.

Is one better than the other what are you guys views

c'mon guys i'm really wanna get some soon don't wanna get the wrong ones.

Advice please

I think boost and oil temperature are the two main ones. For me, oil temp is the most important as it lets you know when it's safe to push the engine a little harder, and gives you an idea of how hot it is for switching it off. I had voltage as the third gauge but I think it's just whatever takes your fancy! I would think oil pressure would be the most useful.

:iagree:

the main reason I went for the air/fuel meter is so that I wouldn't have to find a way of fitting two senders to the oil filter housing.

Plus I'd never seen one and thought it might be cool.
