Bouncing E- Mails

Featured Replies

First time I've experienced this in Hotmail.

Sent an E-Mail to an address within an organisation, copied to another address in the same organisation. The E-mail was bounced back to me, twice, with an added message box saying:-

"The sender of this message, [email protected], could not be verified by Sender ID. Learn more about Sender ID."

The xxxxxx is me.

I did a two way validation of the E-mail addresses using a letter head and an on-line E-mail address validation tool. That said they were OK.

Tried to send the E-mail again using an "@Hotmail.co.uk" account. Same happened again.

Does any one know what's happening here.

it sounds like the organisation you are sending to has implemented (rather badly) a spam filtering solution and its configured badly and not allowing your email through. Sadly you may have to use another non hotmail account to email them.

yeah, defo sounds like they've just blocked all hotmail accounts from sending email

a proper email account is pennies these days, anyway!

is there any links in the returning email that you can click? my server makes all unknown email addresses click a link in the email before it will allow it through to me.
