Shark Fin Antenna

Featured Replies

How fiddly is this to do?

These are now appearing on every ch@v-chariot I see, so a definite no-no for me. Once that crowd latch on to an idea it's time for the subtle, stylish and discerning car enthusiast to move on, IMHO.

Agreed, shark fins are now finding themselves in the saxo and corsa market (no offence intended)

Its getting a daily event now at work where oinks are coming in asking about them.

Big no no from me too.

i dont like them i think it was a step back to behonest. i prefered them built into the back window. not some fin crap. the above are very much right these are showing up on all the tom,****,and harry cars now its worth staying away so people dont look at it and go " oh so you got one of those aswell"

I would prefer the 'no antenna' look - will investigate that over time, money permitting :)

I had the aerial built into the pillar on my sierra years ago ;)

Shouldnt be too hard, but that said I just remembered I've got to pick up my antenna from Stu's neighbour :o :P - which is a GSM enabled one hehe.

Ah well :D

car aerials is a funny subjust car companys the spend thousands designing good looking aero dynamic cars then they plonk a great big poll of an areial on the thing.
