oh its a crap website set-up for friends and chatting to friends,

Looks good Would you have any recommendations for a cheap first step upgrade in a favorit estate with 4x6" 50w Blaupunkt speakers (standard fit in 94) in each front door and a P7900UB Pioneer Headunit? I'm guessing replace the Blaupunkt speakers? Challenge probably is finding ones that will fit and sound good at a cheap enough price, and probably be worth buying a decent amp to power them later on.

Below is about as exciting as it gets at my end. The light on the hard disk is now broken, so thinking of getting it replaced. Planning to route the hard disk into the glovebox but not drilled it yet.

well obviously the more you spend the better quality you get!

well look on the back of your headunit (all new and decent ones) will have a set of pre-outs its basically two plug sockets one is red inside one is white inside.

If you have those then brilliant,

they will be used to run RCA's to an amp, along with a heavy duty powercable from the possitive on the battery, and a thin blue remote lead from the headunit (that tells an amp to turn on)
