This site claims to do a 1.8T conversion in the fun which im guessing is exactly the same as the 1.6 Felicia hatch, also it claims that a 280mm brake conversion can be done using OEM parts! Does anyone know what discs, calipers, hubs etc they are using if its all OEM, would that be all VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat sourced parts?

...Be interesting to see what everyone thinks, maybe this has been mentioned before though?

1.8T is a lot of hard work, would need custom driveshafts too:O

i'm not 100% sure if the brake conversion can be done using oem parts, unless of course the parts are from a real early audi

"1.8 20v Turbo DBW VVT Engine" looks like a complete engine swap to me?!

would love to know more about the brakes????????

It was a one off project they did ( although I'm sure they will do it again if asked, hopefully in a couple of years). I believe it cost somewhere around

Right, this may seem odd but I remember many years ago I saw a Max Power magazine featuring a yellow Felicia with a 2.8 VR6 conversion, and I seem to remember it had a rear disc setup and it used 280mm Corrado discs up front.

If anyone knows anything about this car and has the feature it may explain how to do the brake conversion perhaps.

it was done by awsome gti
