Alloys on warranty

Featured Replies

I noticed a while back whilst cleaning my vRS that one of the alloys had started bubbling. I then checked the other three and two of them were also showing signs of bubbling/corrosion. I did not panic and I was safe in the knowledge that I was still within warranty ALTHOUGH I knew that some people on here had problems with SUK accepting warranty claims for wheels.

Anyway, took the car to Prestons Chelmsford last wheel and they took pics of the wheels, NONE of which have ever been kerbed, and apart from the bubbling look brand new.

I called them yesterday and SUK have agreed to change all four wheels under warranty, thank heavens:rolleyes:

So, to all those with alloy issues, give it a go:thumbup:

As they should as well.

well done mate glad someone got some good news through warranty

RESULT... got my regulator for window xchanged and fitted free as a good will gesture after it was a couple weeks outside warranty..:D

so maybe SUK are reading these threads and taking heed to customers after all... :peepwall:

Well done - took me a while, but it does seem that taking photos and sending them to SUK works.

question thinking about it?

my heater vent left one of the middle 2 has popped off the runner that stops it opening and closing would they fix it under warranty?

cheers

I reckon they should, after all its hardly something you could break on purpose, or cause from neglect, you either open it or close it.

Take it to your dealer, I'm sure they'll have an idea.
