.... 324 miles of motorway and Cheshire lanes and the fuel gauge is just on half full.....We are so pleased with our new car. :)

Yep - admittedly I drive like a bit of a granny, and with 80% motorway trips and averaging 80mph indicated on them (75mph via TomTom!) I managed to get 724 miles from a tank last week, which I though was pretty good! :D

724 miles from a tank

I can squeeze 550 out of Shell VPOWER Diesel. 450 - 480 on normal sludge. I suppose thats the disadvantage of the biffer V6.

We are thinking of buying a 2007 face lifted model superb elegance 1.9 diesel (115) any views, we tried the 2.5 V6 auto and was very disappointed with performance and anticipated MPG. Any one bought and happy unhappy with performance and/or mpg. We at present run a 2005 Octavia 2.0 fsi. Any views please. Roy and Val

On the 1st of September I bought a Superb L&K 2.5 TDI, Nightfire blue one of the last in the country as the 2.5 is no longer made best car I have ever bought new. engine is great only done 650 miles but on a 160 mile trip today mixed roads returned 37 mpg. Overall a great engine and a "Superb" car
