Thanks mates, TBH I wasn't expecting to win anything but the judges obviously liked it.

My favourite cars of the show were probably a pair of Audi 50s, which is basically a very early Polo.

Unfortunately I didn't see any other Skodas there. A lthough my mate said he saw another Fabia.

Did you go as part of another club, or just display on your own? I'm not really sure how E38 is arranged...

Steve - I went up with my brother and a friend. There is a club stand area as well as a central display area where anyone can park up and show off their motors, which is where I was.

Saturday show and shine is less about who's got the cleanest arch liners and more about which cars look right/best. Sunday show and shine is for the people with chrome brake discs etc.

I think he said it was silver so may well have been.

Well done!! So what exactly is 'Edition38' anyways? Ive heard the term used but do not understand the significance! Is it a just a show or is it the name of a car club? PS Audi 50s are sweet , I learned to drive in the VW version!

Its the name of a VW based website, some real talent on there to be sure.

I expect that was me on the saturday. I never saw your fabia and didn't even realise I could have gone in for an "other" show and shine. I even clayed my car.

I was there from about 12 on saturday afternoon,was too busy setting up camp to have a good look round,although i did see your car and later heard that you had won,well done

been going there for about 5 years on the saturday as its a fantastic show but this year i decided to do the full weekend as i've gone off trax

I was there today as well today, thought I recognised your Octy. There was a real shortage of Skoda's. If you've come over to Skoda's from previously being a VW owner like myself, and you havn't beet to Edition 38 - it is absolute car modifying heaven.
