There is a genuine part which sadly cannot be bought in the UK. There are some aftermarket ones on the likes of eBay etc but they aren't that good.

Talking of which, has anyone investigated Skoda dealers abroad that do parts & accessories by mail order? I'm sure with the current strength of the pound, there must be some bargains to be had.

They aren't cheap - I got one sent over when my Dad had his Fabia.

Have a look at armrests-uk.com I know they do one for the Fabia.
