central locking problems.

Featured Replies

ok a little problem,

i have is that one door doesn't work with the central locking, im ok with that its only 1 door and hasnt worked since i had the car.:(

----------------------------------

BUT.

tonight i stopped the engine and when i tryed to get out the car it locked me in!

the door button wouldnt open or close it was stuck halfway.

So i got out through the passenger side, and tryed my key in the drivers door it still wouldnt budge, so i closed the doors and set the alarm

(which activates the central locking)

this locked the door and allowed me to use the key to open it.

problem gets worse, the central locking isn't working at-all now. :thumbdwn:

:mad::(

nothing would make it work, seting the alarm or using the key. and the alarm was a bit odd,

1 beep arms it, 2 beeps usually disarm it, but didnt beep twice, 3 beeps dissarm the alarm after its been activated, it skipped between 1 and 3 each time from its usuall 1 to 2.

-----------------------

when i got home the alarm stoped beeping 3 times, and started beeping twice, however stil no central locking, so i locked the doors from the inside and tryed to push the passenger side lock down but it wouldnt budge

so i closed the door and used the key i then armed the alarm,

Just to check it i dissarmed it and the central locking is working fine again:eek::eek:

oh in case you were wondering the spare keyfob battery was dead, so no luck there.

ANYONE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED THIS B4?
