I bought a new Fabia, then added an Octavia, the Octavia was dull, quick (stage 2), but dull, so I sold it and now just have the Fabia.

The Octavia is not dull by any means IMHO. Each to their own, but personally I think mine is leagues ahead of what my Fabia ever was or could be.

I think when he says dull he means that its hard to provoke oversteer or have "fun" with it. For me it's not really about that. It's a real pleasure to drive.
