Yellow leather and alloy swap

Featured Replies

Hi, can any one tell me a good way of restoring the yellow leather back to a good condition in my fun?

Also I have alloys wheels,17inch and low profile with lots of tread that the last owner put on,does any one want to do a swap or a deal ,who has got the original yellow fun wheels?

Best bet it they have gone too far is a re trim.

I tried all sorts on mine but most of the time the colour has come off so no cleaner in the world will restore it.

Right come on guys,i've got the answer to the yellow leather, but surely someone out there would like to swap their yellow fun wheels for a set of hot low profile 17inch alloys! The reason I dont like them is I want to get the car back to how it used to look...........

it wont handle well at all with the standard alloys on unless you drop it on to 185/60 13s as the standard 165s are too tall and wallowy. mine are under wraps until i get rid of the car

Thanks Rigsby, I guess I'll just have to hang on to them until I can source some real ones....

Could you get a picture of the wheels, I was looking for a pair of 16s for my Fun but if these catch my eye I may do a deal.

hi guys thanks for the wheel info, am keeping an eye on them.I am thinking onf keeping the alloys as I might have to sell on the fun next year. The company i;m working for are talking about a car for me next year as my mileage is creeping up.i'm not to wild about this as i wont be able to get a fun on lease sadly and i really like the fun as it is so versatile...

keep the fun. take it off the road and restore it.

yeah, you'll be getting a 'free' car on the company. keep the toy as well ;)
