Took the Cavalier, went with Vauxhall Owners Network as normal,

Oh, and there were NO, and i mean NO, Skoda's that i saw throughout the day either on Track OR in the exhibitors/display section.

Might be worth looking into a Club Stand for the next couple of Castle Combe Events... (Spring Action Day and Eurofest 2008)

Yep

On a rolling road day not too long ago, when i had standard headlights, i was down on power a little, the operator opened the bonnet, and the power went up by 2bhp, then he lfted the inlet trunking out of the engine bay alittle, and the power went up that time by around 4 over the previous run, so in total i was down by 6bhp, from no cold air feed atall.

And seeing as the inner lights on the Morettes are only spotlights, which i dont need or want, i took the one in front of the filter out, and it helped a lot!

Plus being minimal road use and mainly track, it doesnt matter that it looks a little odd...

Dunno. Have a habit of using them all the time in that, like a Volvo.

I only ask, because if I see someone behind me on the track with their lights on, that makes me just a teeny bit LESS likely to let them past ... I know, I'm a contrary old git (the assumption is that without the headlights, I wouldn't have seen them. Wrong!)
