Hi. My 2002 Fabia AC works fine sometimes... other times it doesn't cool at all. Living as I do in the Dominican Republic, AC is totally vital. I had a mechanic check it and there was no power to the compressor, so I suppose it's an intermittent electrical problem--a relay or something like that. Trouble is, there's only one Skoda repair shop in the entire country and it's 150 miles away and I'd have to leave the car for several days while they get around to fixing it. If I could identify the defective part with a reasonable degree of certainty I could buy the part and have it installed locally. Does anyone know which part might be causing this? I'd appreciate any opinions and advice.

hi and welcome to briskoda...

Thanks I'll Do That!

There are a couple of common problems with the Fabia AirCon and ideally you'd need a diagnostic check to find out.
