My 55 plated vrs brake lights have packed up as suggested by the flashing coil light on the dash.

Is there a guide anywhere on how to fit the replacement brake light switch and also any part numbers or likely prices?

Remember, if you fix it yourself to avoid any inconvenience, the final letter of the part number may have changed - to reflect yet another change - any VAG dealership will provide the correct switch if you say what its for or quote the P/N from the suggested posting. Its very easy to fit if you are okay with car diy - but remember that these switches are fragile - so treat it with a lot of care!
