My SE Vrs

Featured Replies

I have taken my time but have got round to getting some pics my Fabia SE Vrs up. It is lowered 30mm on H&R's and know sits on a set of Octavia Vrs rims thanks to pixelmassacre:thumbup: . Was going to get the rims done in a dark grey or something along those lines and will aventually but they were in such good condition:) decided just to stick them on for a bit. Anyway here's a couple before and after:rofl:

All C+C welcome

OMG that looks the absolute sex mate!!

Gimme gimme gimme!

Is it true that H&R springs are the same colour as OEM? For insurance purposes? ;)

Are you running standard dampers? How much are the springs out of interest and where from?.

I hope to do exactly the same on my VRS with the same rims as they look OEM but still very very nice.

The H&R are the same, still on standard dampers and feels dead on for the driving I do I doubt I notice any real difference with new shocks plus the fabia ones seem to be quite good. The springs from what I remember were £110 from a place called Street Racer here in Bangor NI

Aha thats me sorted then when I get some cash in, h&r it is.

Yeah the vrs dampers are uprated anyway IIRC.

How much did you pay for the alloys just of interest?

From what I've seen the going rate is about 200-250 in good nick but obviously the tyres need changing.

Again mate, love the car, it looks seriously good like that. Well done.

Looks good

Sports springs will wear the standard dampers out quicker, as they have now do more work, but on such a new car it's hardly an issue :)

Do you think that H&R springs and weitec shocks would work well together as you can those for £76 a pair I think.

Not sure, worth looking into though. Don't think anyone runs that combo, with a Fab vRS anyway.

Weitec tend to get decent reviews though; I looked at getting their coilover GT kit.

Steve

very nice :) I honestly think the SE could be collectable in the future... the end of an Icon!

looks good mate, what percentage tints?

Cheers

Looking veeeery nice....... I do like the octy wheels on the fabia vRS.... Have always been tempted to get some myself.

BTW Did the strange mad wavey person come with the car or is it another mod? ;)

Cheers

Dave.

Very nice colour mate, that is stunning

@Stuno1 they are the tints that come in the SE not sure what percentage but no doubt someone here will know.

@WaveyDavey no he was free with the car Special Special Edition LOL

The salesman who I bought my vrs of was telling me the SE is sought after as there is no new fabia vrs till at least next year, so a lot of the SE's are being bought as ex demo's

David

Cool  - really like the Octy wheels on the Fabby, makes it look less agricultural.

Nice car. Mud flaps too.

Wavey Davey Waving. Lol.

Love the alternative alloys.

those koni fsd's and eibach springs work very well together by all accounts, not hardcore enough for me it's got to be kw coilovers all the way:thumbup:

Nice car btw i have allways loved fabias on mk 1 octy rims, i think my se will be getting some white speedline's in the near future, although seeing yours may have tempted me into the mk 1 octy rims again, now i am confused:rofl:

Looks sweet mate

Lovely looking car, so much better with the Octy wheels.

Looks absolutley stunning. Very nice indeed!

Thanks for all the comments

Car looks great.

Like you, I've just acquired a mint set of 17" mk1 Octy alloys and I reckon nothing looks better on the Fabia vRS. I think we're not alone, the prices on ebay just keep going up and up.

One thing I must ask; what size of tyres did you choose?

you need either 205/40/17 or 215/40/17

you need either 205/40/17 or 215/40/17

I've got a post in General Car Chat on the subject and the 215/40/17 has also been mentioned there. Looks like I'll opt for this size.

Thanks.

Gives a better stance too I feel; the car looks less 'tall' running that size...
