Anyone tried to use one of these on a later car?

I am only wanting to upload the ECU contents having looked around in some other posts it mentions removing fuse 14 the software comes back with ECU not found.

Any help would be greatful otherwise it will be back on ebay.

The fuse removal is only needed on the old vag immo 2 dashs. The vrs should read fine. Word of warning be very careful when writing, i have seen a few ecu's get destroyed by doing this stage incorrectly.

These KWP2000 as found on ebay are clones of the genuine tool and not very stable to say the least. Chances are your car uses an EDC15P+ ECU but the nearest option on KWP2000 will be EDC15P

By the way dont go uploading ebay DVD maps! If a checksumm isnt corrected you will be locked out of the ECU with a non starting car and needing a specialist.

PM me if you need more details.

i will echo what yellow cupra posted, these clones are very unstable and they have no safe gaurds to stop you up loading the wrong file or anything you like.

If you wanted you could up load an MP3 file and it would'nt stop you!

and you also have a very high risk of it damaging your ecu, which could cost you £££££!

Have a look on ebay for skoda remap, PM me if your interested
