Scout options

Featured Replies

 I have been browsing some car brokers sites and have found the options for the Scout (which I can find no mention of on Skoda's site - maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?) and noticed one for a Vario-floor. Anyone know what this is?

Hi there,

The Variable Boot Floor is exactly that - A false floor that sits about 4-5 inches higher giving a completely flat loading area (as there is a lip just behind the rear seats which normally rises about 3 inches or so?).

The variable floor also has a handle enabling you to lift it up storing kit underneath - I had this fitted as we have to carry large amounts of exhibition equipment - It's a good option to go for if you carry gear - I think it's normally around £120.00 fitted? I got the dealer to throw it in FOC as part of the sale....:) .

As for the part number - I too cannot find anything on tinternet.....

Got it on my vRS. Again got it as part of the deal. Great bit of kit and makes it easier to load the boat as it eliminates the drop into the boot.

Not a great picture but it's in the accessories brochure.

Marvellous - thats what I hoped it was.

If the scout is the same as the normal 4x4 you don't have the option for that as the floor doesn't have the drop (raised to make room for the diff etc?)... or at least ours doesn't!
