removing center dash

Featured Replies

is there a guide to this as i cant find one from a search? otherwise how do i go abotu doing it.

i can see any obvious screws etc so just give me a hint please. i need to get into the back of the stereo area as my JVC unit has a massive fuse which means the unit doesnt fit in properly.

just take the glove box off.

its 5 screws and gives you all the room you need. just be careful of the light wiring when you lower the glove box

What he said. Plus, while you've got the headunit out, pop out the switches for you ASR, heated rear screen and petrol flap, along with the blank one. This will help you to keep the wiring harness up out of the way as you guide it all in. You can also pop the cubby holder out for extra room, can be a bit tricky to slot it back in with the head unit in situ though.

like otheres have said try removing the glovebox first only 5 torx screws holding it on

if you really need to take the dash out it isnt that bad just time consuming

the part the stereo clips into is only a £9 section as it comes away from the main top dash section

let me know if you want to know were all the screws ae for it i only removed mine last weekend

takeing the glove box out was the easiest way I found to get my parrot car kit in which needs the Iso leads form the head uint and loads of cable to hide.
